Deputies were called to the center, located in the the 3600 block of FM 1327 in the Creedmoor area, after the body was discovered. Deputies said the man was a transient, who was later identified as 62-year-old Randall Shinault.

The crash happened in Milam County, Texas, which is about two and a half hours northeast of San Antonio. The deputy’s body will be escorted to the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office by TCSO deputies. 27-year-old woman from San Antonio identified as swimmer found dead in Lake Travis
SAN ANTONIO A swimmer whose body was pulled from Lake Travis over the weekend was identified as a San Antonio woman. Sally Avison Graham, 27, of San Antonio was found dead Saturday morning in the lake after she was reported missing on Friday, according to the Travis County Sheriffs Office. Graham was swimming in the Cypress Creek Arm of Lake Travis when she disappeared, officials said. A dive team was unable to locate Graham Friday evening, and the TCSO lake patrol activated a GPS buoy were she was last seen. The Travis County Medical Examiners Office and TCSO are investigating the cause and manner of her death.

TRAVIS COUNTY - A former chief of the Texas Department of Public Safety was fired Tuesday after he was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, according to a news release from the agency. John Jones, who was chief of the Intelligence and Counterterrorism Divison, was arrested by Travis County sheriff's deputies and the Texas Rangers Tuesday evening on the charge. "The department takes allegations like this very seriously, and the Texas Rangers are working closely with the Travis County District Attorney's Office and the Travis County Sheriff's Office, which is leading this investigation," officials wrote in the news release.
