New episodes of โUp Close with Isis Romero' air Thursday at 9 p.m.
SAN ANTONIO โ KSAT 12 Nightbeat anchor Isis Romero returns with two new episodes of her original news program, โUp Close with Isis Romero.โThe two 30-minute episodes will air back to back beginning at 9 p.m. on Thursday on KSAT 12 and on KSAT.com. You will also be able to find the episodes on Roku, Amazon Fire and Apple TV. This episode of โUp Close with Isis Romeroโ explores the issue of missing persons in Bexar County and beyond. Host Isis Romero takes an up close look at the mysterious disappearance of HEB employee Pauline Diaz in 2010, and the notorious case of Heidi Seeman, whose disappearance prompted an unprecedented search and the subsequent founding of the Heidi Search Center in the early โ90s. With cesarean sections on the rise across the country, Romero shares her own experience with the procedure and welcomes viewers inside the operating room as she undergoes her third C-section and the birth of her third child.

SAN ANTONIO โ Austin Borjas-Ewell, 16, is climbing the ladder in the world of competitive Menโs Figure skating, with dreams of someday landing a spot on Team USA. Austin was adopted from Cambodia as an infant by two loving and supportive fathers who are helping him chase his dream.
'Up Close with Isis Romero' set to debut in September
SAN ANTONIO โ KSAT 12 News and Graham Media will debut a new innovative and creative news program that features unique storytelling, in-depth interviews and original stories that are different from traditional news reports. KSAT 12 will premiere โUp Close with Isis Romeroโ with two back-to-back episodes starting at 9 p.m. Sept. 7, with subsequent episodes to follow in December. โWeโre very proud of the breakthrough storytelling Isis has created with this program, and weโre excited for viewers in South Texas to see it,โ said KSAT 12 Vice President/General Manager Phil Lane. The first episode, entitled โFinal Days,โ gives an in-depth look at the 1992 murder of Theresa Rodriguez, with Romero bearing witness to the execution of her killer in Huntsville earlier this year. Romero worked closely with veteran KSAT photographer Eddie Latigo on the project and also serves as executive producer and host of each half-hour episode.
