Flash flood warning issued for Bexar, Kendall, Comal, Bandera, Uvalde, Medina counties

Warning in effect until 9:15 a.m.

SAN ANTONIO – The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for northwestern Bexar County,  Comal County, southern Kendall County and Hays County until 9:15 a.m. Monday.

Some locations that will experience flooding include, San Antonio, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Boerne, Wimberley, Canyon Lake Dam, Kyle, Helotes, Buda, Fair Oaks Ranch, Canyon Lake, Bulverde, Hollywood Park, Shavano Park, Woodcreek, Uhland, Niederwald, Driftwood, Walnut Grove and Guadalupe River State Park.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report flooding to local law enforcement when you can do so safely.
