SAN ANTONIO – The much anticipated list of the 50 best barbecue joints in Texas has been released, and two San Antonio locations made the cut.
The fairly new 2M Smokehouse and The Granary 'Cue & Brew at the Pearl were the only two places in San Antonio to land on the list.

2M Smokehouse is run by pitmaster Erasmo Ramos, who was formly a pitmaster at La Barbecue in Austin. Writers and editors who put together the list rated 2M Smokehouse a 4.5 out of 5 scale.
The Granary 'Cue & Brew is run by pitmasters Tim Rattray and Matt Coogan. The popular joint at the Pearl was rated 4.25.
Texas Monthly every four years releases this list.
