SAN ANTONIO - Many of us have bank statements or medical documents that we no longer need. It’s important to dispose of these sensitive papers in a secure manner so they don’t end up in the wrong hands.

That’s why KSAT Community is sponsoring Shred Day. People can bring up to two boxes of documents to be shredded for free.

The shredding event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21 between 8 a.m. and noon at the following locations:

•    Rolling Oaks Mall
6909 N Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78247

7007 Fairgrounds Pkwy #101, San Antonio, TX 78238

•    Nelson W. Wolff Stadium
5757 U.S. HWY 90 W, San Antonio, TX 78227
