Veterans Day is Monday and there are many restaurants and shops honoring those who have served with all kinds of deals.
- Kripsy Kreme is offering vets and active duty military a free doughnut and free small coffee on Monday. You can show a military ID or simply wear your uniform to receive the freebie.
- Starbucks is saying thanks with a free tall brewed coffee on Monday for veterans, active duty military and their spouses.
- Texas Roadhouse locations are taking care of lunch for veterans on Monday. You can select from ten different entrees and lunch includes sides and a drink. If you want some free music, you can also download the single, "Pride of America" by Ayla Brown for free.
- Bar Louie is offering a free meal to current military service members and vets on both Sunday and Monday. The deal is good for an entree up to $12. Proof of military service, like a military ID, is needed.
- California Pizza Kitchen is making pizzas for heroes on Monday. All veterans and active duty military are invited to have a free pizza. They ask that you wear your uniform or bring your military ID for proof of service.
- Chili's is offering a free entree to veterans and active duty military on Monday. There is a special menu for the qualifying freebie.
- Chick-Fil-A locations in the San Antonio are offering a free meal to retired and active duty service members from 4 p.m. to 7p.m.
- Einstein Bros. Bagels is offering all acitve duty military and vets a free bagel and shmear on Monday.
- Golden Corral is hosting "Military Appreciation Monday." They are providing a free "Thank You" dinner to anyone who has served in the military from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Hooters is offering free meals to military service men and women on Veterans Day. It's good up to $10.99 with any purchase of a drink. You will need to present your military ID.
- Olive Garden has free entrees for active duty and vets on Veterans Day. The deal is good for dine-in only.
- Paciugo on Basse Road is offering vets and active duty military a free 12 ounce Gelatte for Veterans Day. Limit one.
- Shoney's in Windcrest is saying Thank You to vets by offering their All-American Burger for free on Monday. Proof of military service is needed.
- Sport Clips is offering free haircuts to veterans and active duty military on Monday. Proof of service is required.
- TGI Friday's is covering lunch on Veterans Day. Vets and active duty military will be able to order off a special menu for the free meal.
