Sean Talbot joined the KSAT team in November 2001. He was originally hired to be an Associate Producer and worked his way up through the ranks. He spent 14 years as a producer before taking on the role of Assignments Manager in December 2015 where he helps guide news coverage for all of the newscasts and KSAT.com. Sean is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University, which is now known as Texas State. He received a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis on broadcasting. He also has a minor in Political Science. While in college, Sean worked at KTSA Radio in San Antonio. He spent five years producing news talk shows for a variety of hosts before being elevated to the role of reporter. During his time as a producer and a reporter, he covered numerous major events including the 1996 Presidential Conventions, the Spurs’ first NBA Championship and the impact the 9/11 attacks had on the Alamo City. When he is not in the newsroom, Sean can be found at home with his wife Lomisa and their two daughters Grace and Sydney. If he isn’t at home, he is likely on a golf course somewhere.
