Loop 1604 near Redland Road reopens following big rig crash
18-wheeler jack-knifes; no injuries reported
SAN ANTONIO – The westbound lanes of Loop 1604 near Redland Road reopened at 9 a.m. Wednesday following a crash involving an 18-wheeler.
Police said the big rig jack-knifed just before 4 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Traffic was diverted to the access road.
Officials said it took several hours to move the big rig because the rear wheels came off the 18-wheeler.
It also took time for hazardous materials crews to clean up some liquid that spilled on the road.
