Body of missing fisherman recovered from Calaveras Lake

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – The body of John Engleton, who was out fishing on Calaveras Lake early Monday, has been recovered, officials said.

Family members said Engleton may have been fishing from a wall at the lake

Witnesses on the lake say they heard a cry for help.

Texas Parks and Wildlife crews came out to the lake Monday morning to search for his body.

They found his boat and Engleton's remains.

Engleton was in his late 60s.
