SAN ANTONIO – A career fair for veterans, family members and civilian personnel will be taking place Wednesday, Sept. 12, from 9:30 a.m to 3 p.m at the Live Oak Civic Center at 8101 Pat Booker Road.
Over 50 employers are scheduled to attend including, NuStar Energy, Veterans Administration, Ensco PLC, Express Lube, USAA, The Brandt Companies LLC, The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, Union Pacific, Volt Workforce Solutions, Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union, Toyota, Shell, New York Life and many others.

The following classes will be offered at the job fair: The Federal Employment Process, VA Resume and Employment Prospect Class and Work Opportunity Tax Credit. Organizers said the event is a great networking opportunity, so be sure to take plenty of resumes.
The career fair is sponsored by Texas Veterans Commission, Joint San Antonio Military Bases' Transition and Career Focus Programs, US Department of Labor/VETS, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, Alliance for Veterans and Families, Disabled American Veterans Alamo Chapter 5.
