SAN ANTONIO – Lackland Air Force Base instructor Staff Sgt. Kwinton Estacio was acquitted of sexually assaulting a basic training graduate, but was sentenced to 12 months in prison after pleading guilty to lesser charges earlier in the week.
A Joint Base San Antonio spokesperson said along with the 1-year sentence, Staff Sgt. Kwinton Estacio would be reduced to the lowest enlisted rank, E-1, and receive a bad conduct discharge.
