An Air Force training sergeant is guilty of rape and will spend four years in confinement for the crime.
A court martial decided Staff Sgt. Eddy Soto's fate after a woman testified Soto had forced her to have sex.

Soto could have faced life in prison, but received the lesser 48 months term Saturday.
Military judge Lt. Col. Matthew Van Dalen also ruled Soto will be reduced in rank to basic airman, forfeits all pay and allowances, and that he will be dishonorably discharged when his confinement ends.
The court also found Soto guilty of wrongfully seeking to develop an improper relationship with a technical training student, and of seeking to develop an improper relationship with an immediate family member of a trainee.
Soto also was convicted of committing adultery and of making a false official statement.

He is the tenth training sergeant to be court-martialed in a series of mostly sex related allegations involving training instructors and female trainees at Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio.
