San Antonio police: Drunk customer attacks, cuts strip club manager

A man is accused of becoming belligerently drunk and slashing a San Antonio strip club manager with a knife early Tuesday morning.

The incident began just after 2 a.m. at Rick's Cabaret in the 200 block of Brewster when the patron got upset because he was told he would not be served anymore alcohol.

The patron was already intoxicated and became violent as he was escorted out of the strip club by the manager and another employee, police said.

The patron then pulled out a knife and slashed the manager across the finger and forearm.

He was detained until officers arrived and taken into custody. Police have not released the suspect's name, but said he would most likely face charges of aggravated assault.

The strip club manager was not seriously injured and treated at the scene by paramedics.
