Brentwood students, teacher injured in car accident 3 students, 1 teacher injured heading to Mammoth Resorts
According to Edgewood Independent School District, a Brentwood Middle School teacher and three students are being treated at a hospital in Las Vegas after being involved in a serious car accident there.
The students and teacher were traveling to California for a trip coordinated by the Greater San Antonio After School All Stars.
The group flew to Las Vegas and then drove to Mammoth Resorts in California for a skiing trip sponsored by the national branch of GSAASAS.
The students were selected for this trip for their accomplishments in GSAASAS activities.
On the way back to the Las Vegas Airport, the group was involved in a car accident.
The group is at a burn trauma center in Las Vegas.
Sunday night, GSAASAS made arrangements to fly the parents to Las Vegas to be with their children.
