1 man injured in SW Side shooting
Shooter remains on the loose
SAN ANTONIO – One man was injured Sunday in a shooting on the city's Southwest Side.
It happened around 3 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 9300 block of Somerset Road.
Witnesses at the Costa Mirada Apartments told police two men, neither of which live at the complex, were fighting when one of them pulled a gun.
Police believe the men were meeting at the complex for an unknown reason.
A police helicopter and K-9 units were dispatched in an attempt to locate the shooter.
They have not yet located the man, but the gun was recovered.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
Several witnesses were taken downtown for questioning.
