Chrysler is recalling nearly 907,000 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep SUVs and cars for two separate issues.
The first recall is for 470,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees, Chrysler 300s and Dodge Chargers, Challengers and Durangos from the 2011 through 2014 model years.
The alternators can fail, causing the engines to unexpectedly fail.
Owners will be notified next month, and Chrysler will replace the alternators for free.
Jeep Wranglers recalled
The second recall is for nearly 437,000 Jeep Wranglers from the 2011 through 2013 model years.
Water can get into the heated power mirror wiring and cause a short or fire. Dealers will make those repairs beginning in the December.
Fiskars recalls tree shears
Hold off on cutting tree branches if you're using Fiskars shears purchased at The Home Depot. Fiskars recalled 277,000 Titanium Bypass Lopper shears with model number 6954.
The handles can break leading to lacerations. Eleven incidents have been reported and some of the injured required stitches to the head or face.
Consumers can contact Fiskars at (855)544-0151 to get a free replacement.
Costco recalls TV wall mounts
More than 200,000 TV wall mounts sold at Costco have been recalled.
The recall involves the Sanus Simplicity model SLF5. The nut that secures the TV to the main arm can loosen, and the TV can fall.
The company, Milestone AV Technologies www.milestone.com is contacting consumers and will provide a free repair kit.
Toy toasters recalled
And, a toy toaster is being recalled because the plastic toast can crack into small pieces, creating a choking danger for kids.
Toys R Us sold the Just Like Home brand toaster since last summer. Parents can return it to the store for a full refund.
