Hundreds of children hop for joy at Easter egg hunt

SAN ANTONIO – Hundreds of children got into the Easter spirit Saturday morning at Morgan's Wonderland as they participated in the Easter Egg Extravaganza. 

There were five separate egg hunts for kids of different ages and one specifically for children with special needs.

Organizers said they enjoy holding the event at Morgan's Wonderland where all kids are included in the fun.

"This is a total kid event. It's so much fun for all the kids, they come out and play and have a good time and they get excited at the Easter Egg hunts and all. Their eyes just light up with fun," said Michael Payne, general manager at Salem Media Group.  

Mascots and superheros were also there to interact with the children and no one left empty handed.
