SAN ANTONIO – Court documents reveal Tuesday that a well-known drag performer knew his alleged killer.
In fact, according to the affidavit, Torrance Cheeves and Jonathan Henderson-Houston had a sexual relationship.
Henderson-Houston was charged over the weekend with murder.
That news comes as police release new video of the suspects and their getaway car.
The video shows a Ford Taurus Station Wagon at the intersection of Blue Bonnet and Hudson the night before Cheeves was found dead in his home on Blue Bonnet.
Cameras at the nearby Antioch Missionary Baptist Church on Walters recorded the station wagon slowly circling near Cheeves' house on Bluebonnet
The video also shows the car leaving with one man running and jumping on top of it.
According to a police affidavit, that man is the older brother of Henderson-Houston. Houston-Henderson’s brother not been arrested.
Henderson-Houston talked to police last week when police confronted him about text messages they said were exchanged between he and Cheeves about their sexual relationship.
Police said Henderson-Houston admitted to stabbing Cheeves in the neck with a kitchen knife.
According to the affidavit, Henderson-Houston said he was the only person inside the house at the time of the stabbing.
Police are hoping anyone who may have information on what happened after what's shown on the video and can help to identify the others will call them.
