2 arrested after drive-by shooting at barber shop

No one was inside the building at the time

SAN ANTONIO – Two men have been arrested after driving by a barbershop on the city’s Northeast Side and opening fire.

Police said the two men in a black Mercury Sable drove by Nutall’s Cuttin Corner on the 13000 block of Nacogdoches and began firing several shots into the building just before noon Friday.

As the shooting was occurring an off-duty Kendall County officer was driving by and witnessed the shooting.

The officer followed the suspects. When the two men realized they were being followed they surrendered without incident. The gun believed to be used in the shooting was recovered.

Luckily, no one was inside the building at the time. Both men are facing a charge deadly conduct.
