Bexar County Deputy arrested for DWI

SAN ANTONIO – Joe Hernandez, a Bexar County deputy, has been arrested for a DWI, officials said Sunday.

James Keith, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman, said Hernandez was arrested by San Antonio police.

Keith said the BCSO has begun an investigation into Hernandez following the arrest.

Hernandez presently works as a bailiff at the Bexar County Court complex.

Hernandez was magistrated and released.
