Argument ends with two men shot, another man arrested

2 shot in leg

SAN ANTONIO – Two men were shot and another was arrested following a shooting just west of downtown, San Antonio police said late Friday night.

The double shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Pace Street.

Police said three men in their 30s got into an argument. One of them left and came back several hours later with a gun, said police.

Police said the two men in the home were trying to wrestle the gun away from the shooter when he fired several shots. The two men were both hit in the leg and taken to the hospital.

According to police, the shooter left the home and later called 911 saying he had been shot. When police and EMS found the man at the McDonald's on Culebra Road and North Elemendorf Street they found that he was not shot but was treated for injuries sustained when the men tried to take the gun away.

The shooter was arrested and will face aggravated assault charges.
