KSAT 12 News did some digging and found there have been several robberies, aggravated assaults and burglaries in the area.

This week, someone was killed just a few blocks down from were Dotson died. A man was found shot dead in a bedroom Monday night. Armando Guerrero’s family hadn’t heard from him since Saturday. His killers has not been caught.

Residents on Center Street said their neighborhood was quiet. Most people have called it their home for years. One man said that since Dotson’s murder, his neighbors stay inside and stick to themselves in fear of getting mixed up with the wrong crowd.
Many residents were afraid to go on camera, fearing they may be the next victims.
