Unsolved 1994 deadly drive-by shooting involved 3 cars

Olga Acosta killed, no one else hurt in shooting

SAN ANTONIO – A drive-by shooting in 1994 on the city's Southwest side targeted a home filled with people. Only one person would be hit fatally.

San Antonio police said Olga Acosta was in her home on the corner of Ted and Pollote streets. Around midnight on May 27, 1994, three cars drove by the home, and people inside them opened fire.

Acosta was the only person hit by the bullets. She died from her injury. A photo of Acosta was not available.

Police were given three descriptions of vehicles used in the crime, a red Toyota pickup, a white Chrysler LeBaron and a red Firebird or Camaro.

No arrests have been made. 

"It is believed that street gangs may have been involved in this shooting," police said.
