North SA sex offender wanted on charges he skipped supervision

Benito Davila, 22, required to register as sex offender for life

SAN ANTONIO – When he was convicted in 2014 of having sex with an underage girl, Benito Davila was ordered to register as a sex offender for life.

Now he's accused of violating the terms of his release. The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force considers Davila, 22, a fugitive.

"In July of last year, a warrant was issued for Davila's arrest for allegedly failing to comply with sex offender conditions and absconding from supervision," Deputy Chris Bozeman said.

Davila is listed as absconded on the state's sex offender registry site. His last reported contact was with the San Antonio Police Department last August.

Davila is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

"His last known place of residence was on the North side of San Antonio," Bozeman said.
