SAN ANTONIO – One of San Antonio’s original high rises reopened Tuesday after it was completely rebuilt.
The Maverick Building was built in 1922 by world-renowned architect Lou Harrington. It's nestled along East Houston and North Presa streets downtown.
The city held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the building's grand opening. It now has 86 apartment homes and retail space on the ground level.
