15-year-old killed during shooting at NE Side Whataburger Shooting reported at Walzem, FM 78
SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County deputies are investigating the latest deadly shooting in the area in a little more than 24 hours.
One person, a 15-year-old, was confirmed dead after being shot at the Whataburger at the intersection of FM 78 and Walzem Road.
The shooting was reported just before 9:45 p.m. Witnesses told investigators they saw three vehicles driving away after the shooting.
Witnesses also told deputies the parties involved knew each other and a fight broke out during a vigil.
On Sunday, there was a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in Converse, approximately a mile away.
Reggie Adams, 16, was shot and killed. Police have made one arrest but said are possibly looking for two more people who may have been connected to Sunday’s shooting.
