Man shot by people who show up at West Side home Shooters asked for victim by name, police say
SAN ANTONIO – A man is being treated for a gunshot wound that he suffered after several people showed up at his door and asked for him by name.
The shooting happened at a home just west of downtown, in the 2000 block of El Paso Street.
San Antonio police officers at the scene described the home as a “known drug house.”

They said the visitors walked up around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday and told two women standing outside to go and get the victim.
When the victim came to the door, he was shot.
Police said the gunmen fired several shots, but the victim was hit only one time.
He was taken to a hospital by ambulance with what officers say was a non-life-threatening wound.
The shooters got away.
