Texas Lottery to pay out close to $10 million to SA area scratch-off winners

SAN ANTONIO – It might be the perfect time for San Antonio residents to pick up a scratch-off lotto ticket.

On Thursday, the Texas Lottery announced a fourth person had claimed a million dollar prize from a scratch off ticket that had been purchased in the San Antonio area.

The Texas Lottery said Matthew Brod claimed a $1 million prize Thursday off of a scratch-off ticket he purchased at a Chevron Food Mart in Pleasanton.

Before Brod, Tanya E. Feinleib claimed a $2.6 million prize from a scratch ticket she purchased at a Tiger Stop in Canyon Lake.

On Wednesday, San Antonio resident Azelian Pratt claimed a $5 million prize from a ticket she purchased from an East side ice house.

On Tuesday, Juan Caramona of Lytle claimed a $1 million prize from a scratch-off ticket he purchased in Devine.

The San Antonio area has produced close to $10 million in winning scratch-off tickets in approximately one week.

Winners paid between $5 and $50 for their respective tickets.
