Arrest made in shooting death of 15-year-old boy outside Whataburger

Robert Leon Allen wanted in connection with murder of Noel Reyna

SAN ANTONIO – A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy outside a Whataburger in East Bexar County.

According to an email from the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, Robert Leon Allen was arrested Monday.

More details about this arrest are expected during a media briefing Monday night.

Allen is accused of opening fire on Noel Reyna around 9:35 p.m. on Nov. 20 outside the restaurant in the 7700 block of FM 78.

The two had gotten into a fight at a vigil earlier that evening for another teenager, Reggie Adams, who was gunned down the day before in Converse, a source told KSAT 12 News.

Sources believe the two shootings are related.

Crime Stoppers offered a reward of up to $5,000 for tips that led to an arrest in the case.
