Sex offender, 3 alleged sex predators featured on KSAT-12 arrested

Men were part of weekly Crime Fighters fugitive segment

SAN ANTONIO – The leads had run out on four fugitives with ties to San Antonio, but after they were featured on KSAT-12, the men have been arrested.

The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force asked for help to find Kenneth Wayne Lovejoy in July 2016. He was wanted for four counts of sexual assault of a child. Lovejoy was indicted in January that year on charges he sexually assaulted a girl under the age of 17 several times on separate occasions.

Lovejoy was arrested in August on a charge of evading arrest. He posted bond on that charge and is awaiting trial.

Johnny Frank Davis was featured as a fugitive in March. He was wanted for failing to comply with sex offender registration conditions. He has since been arrested. Records show he is now in a federal prison in Illinois.

KSAT-12 featured Marcus Ponciano in April after he was indicted for continuous sexual abuse of a girl under the age of 14. Ponciano was arrested July 14. He has since posted bond and is awaiting trial on the charge.

After looking for Jesse Pena, Jr. for two months, the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force asked for help to find him in April. Within a week, Pena was behind bars and charged with four counts of sexual assault of a girl under the age of 17. He's in jail awaiting trial in August.
