Traffic alert: McCullough Avenue closed from Oblate Drive to Shannon Lee Street after New Year’s Day The project is meant to improve area flooding

SAN ANTONIO – McCullough Avenue will be closed from Oblate Drive to Shannon Lee Street starting New Year’s Day for several months, officials say.
Crews will work on making storm drain improvements in the area beginning on Jan. 4.
The work will continue through spring 2021, officials said.
The drainage improvements are part of a 2017 bond project drafted to help reduce flooding in the area.
