A man is wanted for assaulting an 18-year-old man following a basketball game at a North Side gym, according to San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers. (Crime Stoppers)

SAN ANTONIO – A man is wanted for assaulting an 18-year-old man following a basketball game at a North Side gym, according to San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers.

The assault took place at 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 15 at the Tru Fit Athletic Club Park North, located at 522 NW Loop 410.

Police said the men were playing a basketball game at the gym when the 18-year-old dunked on the other player.

The dunk caused the player to sustain a cut on his nose, which was unintentional.

The injured man then left the gym but returned and punched the 18-year-old in the face, causing him to go unconscious.

The attacker continued to assault the victim, causing broken bones in his face.

Police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in finding his attacker, who goes by the street name of “Tarzan.”

Crime Stoppers is willing to pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
