San Antonio resident wins $1 million from Powerball ticket

Ticket was purchased at Circle K at 3411 Thousand Oaks Drive

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio resident won $1 million from a Powerball ticket that was sold at a convenience store on the North Side.

The Texas Lottery Commission said the winning ticket was purchased at Circle K at 3411 Thousand Oaks Drive. The drawing took place on March 4.

The winner elected to remain anonymous.

The second-tier winning ticket matched all five numbers drawn: 10-16-18-40-66. The ticket did not match the red Powerball number, 16. The Powerball increases until the jackpot is won, and Powerball grand prizes start at $20 million.

The winner did not choose to Power Play.
