VIA routes experience weather delays, agency still operating on regular schedule

VIA Metropolitan Transit experienced bus delays Tuesday due to the winter weather, according to a post on its social media.

The winter storm, which swept into San Antonio on Monday night, caused various delays and closures across the city, including at airports, stores, schools and public facilities.

Another post said the transit agency was still operating on regular schedule, though with some detours.

When KSAT had initially reached out to VIA to ask if VIA would be closed, a representative said they would not be closing but would be monitoring the weather.
