SAN ANTONIO – A male was found dead over the weekend on the Northwest Side with multiple injuries around his body, according to San Antonio police.
Officers were initially dispatched to a call for an injured or sick person around 8:25 a.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of West Gramercy Place.

An SAPD preliminary report said that a bystander had contacted police after noticing the male with “visible injuries” to his body.
Upon arrival, officers met with San Antonio Fire Department personnel who had just pronounced the male dead.
It’s currently unclear how the male sustained the injuries, according to the report. His cause and manner of death have not yet been released.
Approximately 24 hours later, SAPD said the body of a second man was found less than half a mile away in the 2000 block of Fredericksburg Road.

An officer at the scene on Monday told KSAT the man was found with head trauma next to a pool of blood. It appeared that he was possibly murdered, police said.
It’s currently unclear when the two people were killed.
