Hurricane Harvey is causing schools and businesses to close

SAN ANTONIO – The following list details all the closures for San Antonio and the surrounding areas. All information is subject to change.

 Weekend Campus Closures:

* Alamo Colleges are closing all campuses through the weekend including Northeast Lakeview College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, St. Philip's College, and San Antonio College.
* Our Lady of the Lake University San Antonio campus will remain closed through the weekend.
* UTSA campuses closed through the weekend.
* Cafecollege is closed until Tuesday.

Monday School Closures:

* Goliad ISD school and activities canceled until Sept. 5.
* Gonzales ISD will be closed on Monday.
*Lifegate Christian School in Seguin will be closed Monday.
* Luling ISD canceled classes on Monday. The first day of school will be Tuesday for LISD.
* New Braunfels ISD has canceled school on Monday. The first day of school is anticipated to be Tuesday for NBISD.
* Nixon-Smiley CISD will be closed Monday. School will start Tuesday.
*Nordheim ISD no school Monday or Tuesday. School will start Wednesday.
* Poteet ISD canceling school on Monday. First day expected to be Tuesday.
* Pleasanton ISD canceled classes on Monday.
* Runge ISD is closed Monday for students and staff. Tuesday is a staff workday. Students will report to school Wednesday.
* Seguin ISD canceled Monday.
* Stockdale ISD closed Monday.
* Texas State University canceled classes on Monday.
* Marion ISD classes are cancelled on Monday.
* St. Michael's Catholic School in Cuero will be closed until Sept. 5.

Church Closures:

* New Light Baptist Church has canceled services for Saturday and Sunday.
* Westover Hills Assembly of God canceled Saturday activities and evening worship service.
* Oak Hills Church - services canceled tonight and tomorrow on all campuses.
* Faith Lutheran Church in Seguin has canceled Sunday services.
* No church services Sunday for the San Antonio West Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
* Skybridge Community Church will not have worship service on Sunday.


Other Closures & Cancellations:

* The Comal and Guadalupe Rivers have been closed to recreation within the New Braunfels city limits until further notice.
* Comal County's District and County courts will be closed Monday, including jury duty.
* Magik Theatre is closed for the weekend. The box office will open Monday pending weather.
* San Antonio Missions National Historical Park is closed for the weekend.
* The San Antonio Botanical Garden is closed this weekend.
* Family Service Association will close San Pedro, Rivas Street and Centergate campuses over the weekend.
* All Planned Parenthood South Texas health centers in San Antonio, Harlingen, and Brownsville will remain closed through the weekend.
* Schlitterbahn Waterpark in New Braunfels is closed this weekend.
* SeaWorld and Aquatica San Antonio are closed through the weekend.
* All YMCA of Greater San Antonio facilities are closed this weekend.
* Weekend performances at the Majestic and Charline McCombs Theatres have been postponed.
* Weekend shows at the Tobin have been postponed.
* The Witte Museum will be closed through the weekend.
* Family Service Association's Live Oak satellite campus at 8001 Village Oak Dr., will be closed Monday.
* U.S. Postal Service employees in the area are being advised to check for changes to their scheduled work reporting status by calling the USPS Employee National Emergency Notification Hotline: 1-888-363-7462.
* DPS offices in the following counties will be closed Monday: McMullen, Atascosa, Karnes, Goliad, Calhoun, Victoria, Dewitt, Jackson, Lavaca, Gonzales, Wilson, Fayette, Caldwell and Bastrop
