Uvalde man arrested in sex-trafficking case

Domingo Gonzalez, 48, had sex with teenage girl, authorities say

AUSTIN, Texas – A 48-year-old Uvalde man was arrested in connection with a sex-trafficking case.

According to officials with the Texas Attorney General's Office, Domingo Gonzalez was arrested on a warrant for compelling prostitution in Bexar County.

Gonzalez's case was referred to the Attorney General's Office after a 15-year-old girl was rescued from domestic sex trafficking, state officials said.

During an interview with law enforcement officials, Gonzalez confessed to engaging in prostitution, officials said.

State investigators discovered that the person Gonzalez paid to have sex with was the 15-year-old victim in their investigation, officials said.
