SAN ANTONIO – Just months after DC Entertainment released the ‘Wonder Woman’ film in theaters, Six Flags Fiesta Texas unveiled plans Thursday to debut the superhero’s first-ever themed roller coaster named “Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster.”

Video animation of the ride shows the “world’s first, one-of-a-kind single-rail coaster on a visually impressive I-beam” with a straight-down 90-degree drop as riders are seated in a single file line in one of the ride's three trains.

The new roller coaster will also feature two airtime hills, one 180-degree stall, a zero-h roll and overbanked turns allowing riders to experience an “open-air, unobstructed view as they twist and turn above the stunning 100-feet quarry walls.”
