Blackberry and Brie Grilled Cheese

SAN ANTONIO – Step up to the plate and prepare to enjoy sandwiches that are in a league of their own during the H‑E‑B Grand Slam Sandwich Event, taking place April 26 through May 9.

H-E-B Backyard Kitchen Chefs Scott and Charlotte have hit it out of the park with delicious creations designed to inspire you.

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp butter
4 slices of Country White or Sourdough Bread from the Bakery
6 Oz H-E-B Artisan Brie, thinly sliced
1 cup(s) blackberries, cut in half lengthwise

Instructions:

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a non‑stick skillet over medium‑low heat.

Place one slice of bread into skillet and top with half of Brie and blackberries. Top with a second slice of bread.

Cook several minutes on one side then flip, adding additional butter if needed.

Continue to cook until cheese is melted and both sides are crisp and golden. Repeat with second sandwich.
