SAN ANTONIO – After hinting at it earlier this week, the San Antonio Spurs have unveiled a new alternate jersey for the upcoming season.

The black signature jersey will be worn for the first time at the Spurs' home opener Oct. 30 against the Brooklyn Nets.

The Spurs described the jersey on their website.

"The new black alternate uniform’s efficient jersey design simply features the iconic Spurs logo prominently over the heart, while the player numbers rest on the right breast," the post read, in part.

The jersey also has silver panels with silver, black and white trim. The shorts feature the Spurs logo on both sides.

The Spurs will also wear the camouflage military jersey and the silver alternate jerseys this year.
