SAN ANTONIO – Former TCU and current Seattle Seahawks quarterback Trevone Boykin was arrested again in San Antonio on Thursday afternoon.

TMZ Sports reported a warrant was issued in Bexar County for Boykin’s arrest because prosecutors believe he violated his probation when he was arrested in Dallas last month for public intoxication and drug possession following a car crash.

Boykin was a passenger in the vehicle involved in the crash.

Boykin was already on probation for getting into a bar fight in December 2015 on the River Walk, and assaulting an officer days before TCU played in the Alamo Bowl.

Boykin was taken into custody around 1:30 p.m. and released a few hours later on bond, TMZ Sports reported.

Boykin tweeted a message following his latest arrest that read:

“Don't believe everything you read the real ones know!!”

He will be arraigned on May 3 and faces up to a year in jail, according to TMZ Sports.
