KARNES CITY, Texas – The Karnes City Badgers return 16 starters this season and will look to bounce back in District 15-3A.
Quarterback Acie Bauer returns after he rushed for 875 yards and seven touchdowns last season.
The defense is led by lineman Channing Leal who had 38 tackles and six sacks.
Karnes City kicks off its season against their rival, the Kenedy Lions, on Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
