SAN ANTONIO – The SACS Lions are heading into this season with high hopes and a new head coach who was once an All-Pro NFL wide receiver.
Former Los Angeles Rams Pro Bowl wide receiver Henry Ellard takes over the Lions program.
SACS returns 11 starters from a team that went 5-6 last year, including quarterback Holden Phillupus, who got hurt in the second game last season.
SACS opens its season Sept. 1 against Cole High School.
