Pachatta Pope is a proud Texan and San Antonian, and she is grateful to tell the stories that affect her hometown. She’s not new to the KSAT 12 family, however. Pachatta has been with the station for four years, working behind the scenes as a producer of both morning and evening newscasts. Now, she’s excited to step in front of the camera once again.

Pachatta graduated from Sam Houston High School. She then attended San Antonio College, where he received a degree in Radio-Television-Film. She then transferred to UTSA and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. While earning her degrees, she worked at the local NBC station as a production assistant. Shortly after graduating, Aggieland came calling and she began reporting for the CBS affiliate in Bryan-College Station. After Aggieland, she headed west to anchor the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. newscasts for KSAN, the NBC affiliate in San Angelo, Texas, for three years. Following her time at the NBC station, she became the noon anchor for the CBS station, KLST, and the host of an afternoon lifestyle show. She returned to the Alamo City after more than four years in West Texas.

When she’s not at the news station, you can find her spending time with her family, enjoying old and new Western movies, watching period pieces and sports, or baking.
