KERRVILLE, Texas – A Good Samaritan is being recognized by Kerrville police for his heroic actions to stop an almost deadly stabbing that resulted in one hospitalization and one arrest. The incident happened around 8:15 p.m., Friday, Jan. 15, at a Subway restaurant in the 200 block of Sidney Baker South. The altercation soon escalated as the suspect, Patrick Patton, who was armed with a knife, began stabbing the victim, according to officials. Kerrville police issued a statement on the incident, giving thanks to the citizen who stepped in. “The Kerrville Police Department would like to thank the citizen for his heroic actions to stop the assault,” the department said.

Man threatens good Samaritan with gun after crashing SUV into car and tree, police say
SAN ANTONIO – A 35-year-old man has been arrested after police say he threatened a Good Samaritan with a gun when he crashed his vehicle into another car and then a tree. According to police, White was driving a sport utility vehicle when he struck a car from behind in the 8700 block of Cinnamon Creek. Police said White’s SUV went off the roadway and crashed into a fence and tree. The driver of the car that White hit suffered only minor injures from the crash. White is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, fleeing the scene of an accident and felony drug possession, police said.

His SUV went off the road and hit a fence and a tree before coming to a stop.
