The Jewish Federation of San Antonio said it is mourning victims of the Sunday shooting at a Hanukkah celebration on Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, including some with local ties to South Texas.

The Jewish Federation of San Antonio has launched a community-wide $1 million Israel Crisis Fund campaign to assist the citizens of Israel.

Editor’s note: We previously reported that the ADL said a suspect was apprehended in connection with the threat made to the San Antonio Jewish community. At this time, the FBI has issued a statement, saying no arrests have yet been made.
