Wilson County agreed this summer to pay a former sheriff’s deputy $200,000 to settle a federal sex discrimination complaint filed after she accused her supervisor of unwanted sexual advances and inappropriate contact while they were both on duty.

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are looking for a man they say led deputies and Elmendorf police on a chase in southeast Bexar County following a shooting. Investigators with the Wilson County Sheriff's Office said the shooting stemmed from a road-rage incident off FM 1353 between people in two vans. They said a person in one van fired several shots at the driver of the other van. Deputies with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office and Elmendorf police located the van and pursued it along Loop 1604 and I-37 before crashing on Donop Road near Southton Road. Wilson County Sheriff's (Office) will (pursue charges) on the aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
