Sabinal ISD is taking lessons learned from the Robb Elementary tragedy and implementing new safety changes for this school year.

Billie Franklin Sabinal City Hall will be closed tomorrow for Good Friday and the Easter weekend. Sabinal ISD is asking voters to OK more $4.5 million in new funding for the new event center. The Heart of Texas Trail Ride Association has riders from Austin, Bandera, Floresville, La Vernia, and Sutherland Springs. These school districts become the latest facing staff shortages.

A mother who's son is battling COVID-19 for a second time, is asking that her small community mask-up students to avoid future campus closures. Currently the Sabinal ISD 3rd grade is out of school for a week after kids were exposed last week.

A rise in COVID-19 cases and a large number of quarantined staff in the Sabinal Independent School District has caused one of their campuses to close beginning Tuesday.
