Although freezing rain and sleet have moved away from South Central Texas, the overnight conditions resulted in significant ice accumulation.

A major closure planned for the Loop 1604 and Interstate 35 interchange over the weekend has been postponed again.

TxDOT warned of an emergency road closure on Loop 1604 near La Cantera Parkway due to a downed electrical line in the area.
