City of San Antonio, UNESCO to host 7th Annual World Heritage Festival
The City of San Antonio World Heritage Office announced the upcoming seventh annual World Heritage Festival, celebrating the city’s historic missions as the first and only United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site in Texas.

Mission San Jose to mark Tricentennial with classical music
SAN ANTONIO To celebrate the Mission San Jose Tricentennial, the 2020 World Heritage Festival and Agarita join forces to present a magical virtual experience of classical music. The performance will be livestreamed from the Mission San Jose Church on Sept. 11. The ensemble recorded the session Thursday.

5th Annual World Heritage Festival to take place next month with virtual events
SAN ANTONIO Since the San Antonio Missions became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015, the city of San Antonio has held an annual festival to honor the designation and raise funds to preserve the Missions. San Antonio Missions temporarily further modify operations to implement health guidanceThe virtual festival will take place from Sept. 8-13 and will also celebrate Mission San Joses 300th year. The photos will be displayed at Mission San Jose and will be free to the public to see through the fall. Sept. 10Virtual San Antonio Missions Trivia Night - This is free and open to the public, registration is required. Sept. 11Virtual Classical Concert: Celebrating Mission San Jose - This performance by Agarita Chamber Players will be live-streamed from the Mission San Jose Church.
